Hyderabad is preparing to host several international events this year to improve its reputation and attract global attention.

On Thursday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to discuss these plans. He sought the central government’s support in organizing major events like Miss World, the Global Deep Tech Summit, the Bharat Summit, and India Joy. Revanth explained that these events would help establish Telangana as a center for the entertainment industry while also bringing in global leaders and artists. He also pointed out that such initiatives could encourage significant investments in the state.

He informed Jaishankar about the delays in arresting key officials, including former DIG Intelligence Prabhakar Rao, who is currently living abroad.
