A two-day national conference on “Digital Transformation as a Catalyst for Sustainable Business Development” began on Wednesday. The event was organized by the Department of Commerce, Satavahana University in Karimnagar.
Speaking at the inauguration, Vice-Chancellor Acharya Umesh Kumar highlighted the growing importance of digital transformation. He explained that technology is playing a key role in various sectors, especially in education and business. He emphasized that adapting to modern developments is essential for progress.
Gupta Laxman G, Secretary of ABRSM and a special guest at the conference, spoke about the role of education in India’s growth. He stressed the need to strengthen the education sector by incorporating modern elements to bring significant improvements.
Another speaker, Professor Srinivasa Murthy, Director of the Institute of Public Enterprise in Hyderabad, discussed the importance of digital transformation in sustainable business development. He noted that the conference would greatly benefit students and researchers.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including conference co-conveners Dr. Tirupati, Dr. Naresh, and Dr. Parasuramulu. Other attendees included Head of the Management Department Dr. Ranga Prasad, faculty members, research scholars, and students from various colleges.
