A customer who had ordered Khabsa, a popular Middle Eastern rice dish, was shocked to find a stapler pin in the rice. If ingested, the pin could have caused a serious health hazard, including internal injuries.
Lack of Responsibility from Hotel Management
Upon noticing the foreign object in the food, the customer immediately raised a complaint. However, instead of addressing the issue with concern, the restaurant manager refused to personally engage with the customer.
The manager did not come to the table to apologize or acknowledge the severity of the situation.
Instead, a waiter was sent to offer an apology on behalf of the management.
As compensation, the restaurant waived the payment for a dessert, but the customer emphasized that it was never about a discount—it was about safety.
