    Cybercrime Victims in Jogulamba Gadwal Get Refunds

    In a major development, ten victims of cybercrime in Jogulamba Gadwal district have received refund order copies worth ₹1,05,558. These individuals had lost a total of ₹1,36,585 due to online fraud in different police station areas, including Ieej, Dharur, Shantinagar, Rajoli, Alampur, Maldakal, and Gadwal Rural.

    Following the instructions of District SP T. Srinivas Rao, IPS, Cyber Security Bureau DSP P. Sattayya and Inspector G. Raju handed over the refund order copies to the victims. The cybercrime unit, along with local police stations, acted quickly to freeze the fraudulently transferred money, helping the victims recover their losses. The refund process was completed through the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Court in Gadwal.

    DSP P. Sattayya advised people to report cyber fraud as soon as possible. He encouraged victims to call the national cyber helpline number 1930 or visit the nearest police station within 24 hours. He explained that reporting quickly increases the chances of getting the lost money back.

    The event was attended by Gadwal Rural SI Srikanth, Maldakal SI Nandikar, Ieej SI Srinivas, and other police officials. The Jogulamba Gadwal police department continues to work on preventing cybercrime and spreading awareness about online fraud.
