One of the major contributions came from Jasmat Patel, Chairman of the Love for Cow Foundation. He donated Rs 5 lakh to support RK Jain’s mission. On Thursday, Patel, along with Kamlesh Maharaj, Mahendra Singhi, Ridesh Jagirdar, and AB Krishna Das, handed over the cheque to Jain.
Additionally, renowned Indian archaeologist Ravinder Singh Bisht has assured his full support for the conservation of ancient temples. Another strong supporter is Padma Shri awardee Dr. Velu Anandachari, an expert in traditional temple sculpture and Indian temple architecture. He has also pledged his assistance to Jain’s noble work.
Ravi Kumar emphasized the importance of more philanthropists joining the cause. He explained that he can restore only three or four temples a year due to the time and effort required. However, with more people supporting the initiative, many more temples can be conserved and renovated.
