Multiple passengers hurt as TGRTC bus overturns

Bus Overturns in Khammam, Several Injured

A TGRTC Indra bus overturned near Tanikella in Konijarla mandal, Khammam district, on Wednesday. Several passengers were injured in the accident.

The bus was traveling from Hyderabad to Sathupalli with 12 passengers on board. The accident happened when the driver tried to avoid a collision with an oncoming car.

Police and RTC personnel quickly arrived at the scene. The injured passengers were taken to the Government General Hospital in Khammam for treatment.

Reports state that three people suffered serious injuries. Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy expressed his sorrow over the incident and instructed officials to ensure proper medical care for the injured.
