Hyderabad authorities have taken action against several eateries using the name Santosh Dhaba without permission. They removed signboards from these establishments following orders from the High Court.

The decision came after Sunil, the owner of Santosh Dhaba, filed a legal petition. He claimed that many restaurants were using the brand name without authorization, causing confusion.

Currently, over 200 hotels in Hyderabad operate under the Santosh Dhaba name. This has led to legal disputes over trademark rights. In response, officials have started removing signboards from unauthorized outlets.
