Hyderabad police have arrested a 20-year-old man for selling banned e-cigarettes. The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force, along with the Kalapathar police, caught the suspect and seized electronic nicotine delivery systems worth ₹2.52 lakh.
The arrested person, Mohammed Waqaruddin from Kalapathar, was found with various banned e-cigarette brands, including I-Moment 9000 Puffs, Elfbar 6000 Puffs, Elfbar 20000 Puffs, Olive Bar 15000 Puffs, Elfbar 30000 Puffs, and IGet 10000 Puffs. Police also took a bike and a mobile phone from him.
During the investigation, police learned that Waqaruddin and his friend, Laksh Goel (also known as Skylab) from Hussaini Alam, were involved in the illegal trade. They had been getting the banned e-cigarettes from a person named Rahul in Delhi through an e-cart courier service. The duo then sold them at higher prices to make large profits.
