    Telangana Showcases Tourism Potential at International Trade Fair

    Hyderabad: Telangana is known for its rich history, culture, spiritual sites, and beautiful landscapes, said Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy on Wednesday. He highlighted that the state has many attractive tourist destinations that reflect its heritage and natural beauty.

    Ramesh Reddy, along with Managing Director N Prakash Reddy, represented Telangana at the International Business Trade (ITB) conference held at the Berlin Expo Center City in Germany. Speaking at the event, he shared that under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, the government is working to boost tourism in Telangana. He also announced that a new tourism policy for 2025-2030 will be introduced soon.

    During his speech, Ramesh Reddy discussed Telangana’s new tourism policy, investment opportunities in the sector, and various incentives for investors. He explained the state’s plans to support tourism-related businesses through subsidies and cooperation.

    The Chairman also highlighted some of Telangana’s major tourist attractions, including the UNESCO-recognized Ramappa Temple, Buddha Park in Nagarjuna Sagar, and the Amrabad and Qawwal Tiger Reserves. He mentioned Hyderabad’s famous landmarks such as Golconda Fort, Charminar, and the Qutub Shahi Tombs. Additionally, he spoke about the popularity of Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, which is famous worldwide.

    Telangana offers various types of tourism, including temple tourism, medical tourism, and eco-tourism, making it an exciting destination for both domestic and international visitors. Ramesh Reddy encouraged tourists to explore Telangana and experience its unique attractions.

    The trade fair, which concludes on Thursday, features over 400 international experts. The event includes 200 sessions and 17 themed tracks, providing insights into global tourism trends and opportunities.
