A group of farmers who lost their agricultural land due to the Mallamma Kunta project met with Nagar Kurnool MP Dr. Mallu Ravi in Hyderabad. The meeting was organized by Telangana State Youth Leader KMS Shravan Kumar Royal.

The farmers explained their struggles after losing 560 acres of fertile land. They urged the MP to merge water from the Chinnoni Palli Reservoir into the Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS). This, they argued, would help irrigate the region and make it more fertile.

The farmers also claimed that the Mallamma Kunta project was unnecessary. They alleged that some political figures were pushing the project for personal financial gain through tenders. They expressed their frustration, saying that while they were losing their livelihoods, corrupt individuals were making huge profits.
