BJP Leader Criticizes Telangana Government Over Scholarship Delays

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Aiza town president, Kampati Bhagat Reddy, has strongly criticized the Telangana government for not releasing scholarships for the past two years. He said this delay has caused serious problems for students.

Speaking at a press conference at the BJP office in Aiza, Bhagat Reddy also condemned private college managements for refusing to give hall tickets to students who have not paid their full fees. He explained that when questioned, college officials blamed the government for not disbursing scholarships, which forced them to demand fees from parents before issuing hall tickets.

Bhagat Reddy accused the Congress government of neglecting the scholarship system. He said that because of this, private colleges are putting pressure on students to pay, leading to stress and frustration. Many students are suffering mentally, and their parents are also angry about the situation.

He warned that if students are unable to take their exams due to hall ticket denial, the government must take full responsibility. He urged the Intermediate Board and the state administration to step in immediately and ensure that all students receive their hall tickets, regardless of fee payments.

Bhagat Reddy also warned that if the government does not take action, the BJP, along with student organizations, will launch a large-scale protest.

The meeting was attended by several key BJP leaders, including Kisan Morcha State Executive Member Medikonda Bhimesen Rao, Town Vice Presidents Lakshman Goud, District OBC Morcha Executive Member Lakshmanachari, Gadiga Raghu, and others.
