The Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) for March 2025 will take place from March 5 to March 25. A total of 9,96,971 students from both first and second-year Intermediate courses will appear for the exams across 1,532 centres in the state.
The Secretary of the Board of Intermediate Examination, Krishna Aditya, stated that all necessary preparations have been made to ensure the exams run smoothly. The exams for first and second-year students will be conducted on alternate days from 9 AM to 12 noon. Students will be allowed to enter the centres from 8 AM, with OMR sheets distributed at 8:45 AM and question papers at 9 AM.
Students must arrive at the examination centres by 8:45 AM to settle in before the exams begin. However, they will be allowed to enter until 9:05 AM as a grace period. The students must check their OMR sheets for the correct subject and language and ensure their answer booklets have 24 pages. Any issues should be reported to the invigilators immediately.
This year, the board has introduced question papers with a unique identification number for added security. Students can enter the exam centres with hall tickets issued by their colleges or those downloaded from the board’s website. The board has also sent hall ticket links to students via their registered mobile numbers.
To monitor and coordinate the exams, District Level Examination Committees (DLECs) have been formed. Additionally, a District High Power Committee (DHPC), including the District Collector, Superintendent of Police, and heads of various departments, has been set up to ensure the smooth conduct of exams.
Authorities have taken steps to support students during the exams. Power utilities have been instructed to provide uninterrupted electricity at exam centres. RTC officials have been asked to run additional buses, and special buses will be arranged if necessary to facilitate student transportation.
Since temperatures are reaching 35°C, the health department will station a nurse or Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) at each exam centre. In case of medical emergencies, students will be taken to nearby primary health centres or hospitals. Police will oversee security at exam centres, and Section 144 will be enforced within 100 meters of the centres.
