Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is building skywalks at all metro stations to improve pedestrian safety. These skywalks will help people cross busy roads safely and connect stations to nearby commercial and residential areas.

One such skywalk is being built from Dr. Ambedkar Balanagar Metro Station to Phoenix/Landmark Mall. Another skywalk is under construction from LB Nagar Station to the Vasavi Anandanilayam complex, which consists of 12 towers with 33 floors each.

HMRL is also planning additional skywalks for other metro stations, including Nagole, Stadium, Durgam Cheruvu, and Kukatpally. These new connections will make it easier and safer for pedestrians to travel between metro stations and nearby buildings.
