Viswam Edutech Hosts 18th Skill Carnival in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Viswam Edutech Solutions Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based company specializing in skill-based education, organized its 18th Skill Carnival on March 2, 2025.
Around 300 students from 7,000 schools across five states took part in this national-level competition after passing multiple selection rounds. The competition featured Abacus, Vedic Math, and Spelling Bee. Initially, 5 lakh students participated at the school level, with the best moving on to district and state-level rounds before reaching the finals.
CEO of Viswam Edutech, Mr. Hari Charan, announced that the national winners would be sponsored to compete in international Abacus competitions, giving them an opportunity to showcase their skills on a global stage.
Special Guests and New Programme Launch
Dr. Jaya Prakash Narayana, former IAS officer and founder of the Lok Satta Party, attended the event as the chief guest. Mr. Kolasani Tulasi Vishnu Prasad, Vice-President of the National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA), was also present as an honorary guest.
During the event, Viswam Edutech launched a new program under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 called “Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship.” Dr. Narayana emphasized that this program would help K-12 students learn essential financial skills such as money management, budgeting, and financial decision-making.
Importance of Early Financial Education
Dr. Narayana highlighted that introducing financial literacy and entrepreneurship from Class V would help students develop responsible financial habits. He stated that the program would also encourage creativity, problem-solving, and innovation—skills necessary for future career success.
Mr. Kolasani Tulasi Vishnu Prasad stressed that implementing this program in all schools would help students develop an entrepreneurial mindset. He pointed out that in today’s fast-changing economy, financial knowledge and entrepreneurship skills are crucial for long-term stability.

Mr. Hari Charan added that their K-12 products align with NEP 2020 and follow a proven business model. He mentioned that the franchise model requires low investment but offers high returns, with a 95% renewal rate.
