The Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGNPDCL) has introduced a new initiative called “Vidyut Prajavani” (Electricity Public Grievance Programme). This program takes place every Monday and allows consumers to directly voice their complaints and concerns.

To ensure quick resolution of issues, Consumer Reception Desks have been set up at all circle, division, and section offices. These desks aim to address complaints promptly, either immediately or within a specific time frame, depending on the severity of the issue. These efforts will help build trust and strengthen relationships between the company and its consumers.

For farmers, TGNPDCL has launched another initiative called “Vidyut Adhikarula Polam Bata” (Electricity Officers’ Field Visit) Program. This program has yielded positive results by addressing various power supply issues in rural areas. As part of this effort, the company is replacing damaged poles, tightening loose power lines, and installing additional poles to improve the power infrastructure.

Additionally, to simplify the process of getting new electricity connections, TGNPDCL has ensured that applications are not rejected outright. Instead, consumers will have an opportunity to respond if any issues arise. To avoid unnecessary delays, applicants will also receive real-time updates via SMS about the status of their application.
