The Telangana High Court has reserved its decision on a petition filed by former police officer Radha Kishan Rao. He had requested the court to dismiss the case against him related to phone tapping.

During the hearing, Rao’s lawyer argued that two different FIRs had been filed for the same offence. The only difference between them was the complainants. The defence claimed that this was an example of legal duplication.

Radha Kishan Rao, who is now retired, is accused of illegally tapping phones when the previous government was in power. The case has gained a lot of attention because it raises concerns about privacy violations and the misuse of authority.
