    Science Exhibition Held at NTR Government Women’s Degree College

    Mahabubnagar: The Department of Botany at NTR Government Women’s Degree College (Autonomous) organized a Science Exhibition on Friday to celebrate National Science Day. The event started at 11:30 AM and featured over 40 creative models made by students, showcasing various scientific concepts and innovations.

    District Youth and Sports Officer Srinivas was the chief guest and inaugurated the exhibition. He interacted with students and appreciated their efforts in presenting models on topics like aquaponics, greenhouses, and food chains. He praised the students’ creativity and encouraged them to develop a scientific mindset and consider careers in research and science.

    College Vice Principal and Head of the Botany Department, Amina Mumtaz Jahan, also spoke at the event. She applauded the students for their hard work and urged them to improve their scientific knowledge and analytical skills.

    At the end of the event, prizes were given to students who presented the best models. Awards included first, second, and third prizes, along with consolation prizes.

    The exhibition was attended by Vice Principal Padma Anuradha and Botany faculty members, including Dr. K. Sudheer, Dr. I. Srivani, Dr. K. Shweta Rani, Dr. S. Triveni, and V. Sukirthi.

    The exhibition provided a great opportunity for students to explore scientific concepts and showcase their innovative talents. It highlighted the importance of science and technology in education and encouraged students to think creatively.
