    Polling Preparations for Teachers and Graduates MLC Elections in Asifabad

    The Election Commission is fully prepared to conduct the Teachers and Graduates MLC elections on Thursday, February 27.

    On Wednesday, election materials were distributed to the polling staff at the Collectorate. In Asifabad and Khagaj Nagar divisions, there are a total of 6,607 voters, including 6,137 graduates and 470 teachers. To oversee the election process, 19 Presiding Officers (POs), 87 Other Polling Officers (OPOs), and 17 micro observers have been assigned duties.

    A total of 250 personnel have been deployed to ensure smooth election proceedings. District Collector Venkatesh Dhotre stated that arrangements are being made in coordination with officials and staff to ensure an efficient polling process.

    Meanwhile, District Election Officer and Collector Venkatesh Dhotre urged all eligible voters to exercise their right to vote in the elections for the Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar constituencies. He also announced that February 27, the polling day, will be a paid holiday for offices and institutions that are being used as polling centers. Additionally, government schools and institutions serving as polling centers will remain closed on that day.
