    Illegal Trafficking and Exploitation

According to the police, the arrested individuals were running an organized human trafficking network. Local brokers, including Kamarul Shaik and Azarul Shaik from West Bengal, were illegally bringing Bangladeshi men and women into India. Their targets were financially struggling girls from Bangladesh, whom they lured with false job promises.

The traffickers first provided temporary shelter in West Bengal and even arranged fake Indian identity documents for the victims. Later, they transported them to cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore to work in brothels. The traffickers charged Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 per person to smuggle them into India and provide fake ID proofs.

    Criminal History of Some Suspects

Among the arrested individuals, Ritoy Islam, Md. Rony Khan, Jalil Sardar, and Rajat Mandal have a criminal background. They were previously arrested by the Tukaramgate, OU Sity, and Rajendra Nagar police under charges related to the Decoy Act and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

    Further Action

The arrested individuals and rescued girls were handed over to Chaderghat and Khairathabad police for further legal action. Cases have been registered under multiple sections of the law, including the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA) and the Foreigners Act. The police have launched an investigation to uncover more details about this trafficking network.
