    Karimnagar: A Life Dedicated to Education and Social Service

    Pallavi Group of Companies chairman and well-known educationist Malka Komuraiah has dedicated decades to social service. Now, for the first time, he is entering politics as the BJP candidate for the Karimnagar Teachers MLC seat.

    Born into a poor farming family in Bandhampalli village, Peddapalli district, Komuraiah worked hard to achieve his dreams. He completed his schooling in nearby villages before securing a civil engineering seat at Osmania University. During his time at the university, he developed leadership skills and was elected as the general secretary of the student union.

    In 1994, with a vision to educate and uplift more families, he established the Pallavi Group of Institutions in Hyderabad. Under his leadership, Pallavi Model Schools and Pallavi Engineering Colleges grew significantly. He also expanded the Delhi Public School (DPS) franchise across the city and personally took charge as the chairman of DPS Nacharam. Many of his students have gone on to become IAS and IPS officers, lawyers, doctors, and scientists.

    Apart from education, Komuraiah contributed to healthcare by setting up Prasad Hospitals in Nacharam. These hospitals serve around a thousand people daily. To help those who cannot visit hospitals, he organizes medical camps in slum areas. Hundreds of such camps are conducted every year, benefiting many poor families.

    Concerned about environmental issues, he established ‘Eco Bharat,’ a plant that produces biodegradable covers using DRDO technology. These eco-friendly covers are sold without profit to promote environmental sustainability. Additionally, he founded ‘Shalivahana Green Energy’ to generate power from agricultural and other waste materials.

    Komuraiah’s contributions have earned him prestigious awards, including the “Best Principal Award” from President Droupadi Murmu and recognition from former President APJ Abdul Kalam for his work in human rights. He was also honored with the “India’s Best School DPS Nacharam – Jury’s Choice Award.”

    As he steps into politics, Komuraiah is actively campaigning across four districts, supported by BJP leaders and followers. His efforts in education, healthcare, and environmental protection have made a lasting impact, earning him respect from many, including prominent figures like Gaddar.
