Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to campaign for V Narender Reddy, the Congress candidate for the Karimnagar – Nizamabad – Adilabad – Medak Graduates constituency. He will hold a series of public meetings on Monday in Nizamabad, Mancherial, and Karimnagar.

According to the official schedule, the CM will begin in Nizamabad with a public meeting at 11:50 AM. Later, he will address another gathering in Mancherial at 2:20 PM, followed by a final meeting in Karimnagar at 5:00 PM, marking the end of his campaign tour for the day.

With the BRS party deciding not to contest, the election has become a two-way battle. The Congress party is determined to secure the MLC seat. To achieve this, seven ministers and 23 MLAs have been given specific responsibilities to attract graduate voters. Additionally, party workers and leaders aspiring for future positions have been tasked with mobilizing maximum voter support.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the need for a strong campaign strategy. He urged Youth Congress and NSUI leaders to plan efforts at the village level. “Even if voters have a positive opinion about Congress, we must ensure they actually vote. We should highlight our development and welfare programs. Ministers, MLAs, and in-charges must follow a full-fledged election strategy,” he said.

Revanth Reddy also emphasized that every vote matters due to the elimination system in the election. He instructed party members to conduct voter mapping, meet voters individually, and focus on booth-level outreach. He also suggested setting up a control room at Gandhi Bhavan for continuous monitoring.

AICC State in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan highlighted the importance of this MLC election. She reminded party members that Congress is in power in the state and must secure the seat. “We have implemented several welfare and development programs. It is crucial to promote these among the youth and ensure our victory,” she said.
