Karimnagar: Congress Leaders Campaign for Graduate MLC Elections

As part of the Graduate MLC election campaign, IT Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, Government Whip MLA Adluri Laxman Kumar, and MLC candidate V. Narender Reddy attended a meeting with party leaders and activists in Dharmapuri town on Friday.

During the event, Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted the Congress party’s efforts in providing over 56,000 jobs within just one and a half years of coming to power. He mentioned that the Young India Skills University has been launched to enhance the skills of unemployed youth. He also addressed opposition criticism against Narender Reddy, stating that it was due to their fear of losing the elections. Legal experts are being consulted regarding the relaxation of Government Order (GO) 317. Furthermore, he confirmed that the DSC (District Selection Committee) recruitment process was conducted as promised in the party manifesto.

Whip Laxman Kumar emphasized his efforts in restarting the Sanskrit Andhra Kalashala in Dharmapuri. He criticized the previous BRS government for neglecting unemployed youth, whereas the Congress government has already filled over 50,000 jobs. He credited Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister Sridhar Babu, and Minister Konda Surekha for their cooperation in reopening the educational institution, which many thought was impossible.

Laxman Kumar also mentioned that an integrated residential hostel was sanctioned for Dharmapuri with a budget of Rs 100 crore. However, he accused a BJP MP of relocating the Navodaya Vidyalaya, which was originally planned for Nerella in Dharmapuri, to another location. He urged graduates to question BJP leaders about their commitment to the region’s educational development.

Finally, Laxman Kumar called on party leaders and activists to work together to ensure Narender Reddy’s victory. He encouraged party supporters to give their first priority vote to Narender Reddy, listed at serial number 2, and help secure a massive win for him.
