    International Telugu Language Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Government Science Degree College in Nagarkurnool district. The event was organized under the leadership of Telugu lecturer Dr. Raghavendra, according to Principal M. Anjaiah.

    As part of the celebrations, students participated in essay writing competitions on the importance of the Telugu language. Prizes were awarded to those who secured the top three positions. Additionally, all participants received certificates for their efforts, said Principal Anjaiah.

    Speaking at the event, Principal Anjaiah emphasized that Telugu is like a mother to its speakers and should be preserved. He expressed concern that many languages are disappearing due to the growing influence of technology and English. To protect and promote Telugu, he urged everyone to use the language in daily conversations.

    He further highlighted that it is the responsibility of every individual to contribute to the preservation of the Telugu language.

    The event was attended by Vice Principal Vanitha, along with faculty members Kodandaramulu, Umadevi, Muzaffar, Raghavender, and others.
