The price of beer in Hyderabad is going up, meaning people will have to spend more to buy it, especially during the hot summer. The State Government decided to increase beer prices based on recommendations from the Price Fixation Committee.
Officials from the State Excise and Prohibition Department said the new prices will take effect immediately. The price of a 750 ml beer bottle will go up by Rs 15-20. Some brands may see even higher price increases, depending on the excise duty charged to beer companies.

Authorities also mentioned that they will adjust the additional excise duty so that breweries can benefit from the price hike.
