    TGMC files cases against eight fraudulent doctors

    The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) has taken action against eight fake doctors in Hyderabad. These individuals were caught practicing medicine without proper qualifications.

    According to TGMC Vice Chairman D.G. Srinivas, officials conducted inspections last month and identified these fake doctors. They were found setting up boards with titles like RMP or PMP and prescribing antibiotics and steroids to patients unnecessarily. Cases were registered against them under Sections 34 and 54 of the NMC Act.

    The clinics involved in this illegal activity include Sri Sai Clinic, run by Dr. Ramesh, and Sri Ambika Hospital, operated by K. Sreedhar, both under Nawabpet police station limits.

    Other clinics identified are Sri Venkateswara Clinic in Indira Nagar, run by LVR Reddy, and Sharani First Aid Centre in Hanuman Nagar, operated by Bisa Venkateswarlu. Additionally, Sri Krupa First Aid Centre, managed by G. Bhagya Rekha, was found in Moulali.

    In AS Rao Nagar, DSR Health Care Poly Clinic and Diagnostic Center, run by Srikanth, was caught. Assam Plus Clinic Counselling Centre in Hakimpet, managed by Mohammad Azam Hussain and Mohammad Ashfaq Hussain, was also among the illegal establishments.

    Further, under Saroornagar police station limits, authorities found Sri Maruti Clinic in Champapet, run by Srinivasa Chari. Sai Akshita and Akshaya Clinic, also in Champapet, was operated by Bhartan Rashid. Lastly, Sai Chaitanya First Aid Centre in Srinivasa Nagar Colony, run by D. Rambabu, was also identified.

    The authorities have gathered evidence against these individuals, and legal action is being taken to prevent them from continuing their unlawful medical practices.
