The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has made strong claims about a conspiracy to include Muslims in the Backward Classes (BC) list. He warned that this move could impact the Hindu community’s chances of winning competitive seats in Telangana in the future. He pointed to the recent GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) election results, arguing that the 4% Muslim reservation introduced during Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s government led to Muslims winning seats that he claims should have gone to BC candidates.

Bandi Sanjay also criticized the ongoing caste census survey, alleging that it reduces the percentage of the BC population and harms the Hindu community’s interests. He questioned why BC organizations have not spoken out against what he called a serious conspiracy. He expressed disappointment over the silence of intellectuals and educated individuals on this issue, saying that their lack of response is unfortunate for society.

As part of the campaign for the upcoming MLC (Member of Legislative Council) elections, the BJP organized a “Graduate Resolve March” in Karimnagar. The march took place from Rammangar Chowrasta to Geeta Bhavan Chowrasta and saw significant participation from youth, employees, and BJP workers. Several BJP leaders, including MPs Raghunandan Rao and Godam Nagesh, as well as MLAs Payal Shankar, Katepalli Venkatanarasimha Reddy, Palvai Harish Babu, and Ramarao Patel, joined the event. During the march, Bandi Sanjay also unveiled the BJP manifesto for the MLC elections.

In his speech, Bandi Sanjay criticized the Congress Party, saying that voters in Delhi had rejected them with “donkey eggs,” implying that the party had failed to gain public support. He accused Congress of failing to fulfill its promises, such as providing a monthly unemployment allowance of ₹4,000, which has remained unpaid for 14 months. He claimed that this has led to each unemployed individual being owed ₹56,000.

He also attacked the Congress government for not delivering on its promise of financial assistance to students, which he said amounted to ₹5 lakh per student. Additionally, he accused Congress and its leader, Revanth Reddy, of repeatedly failing to honor their commitments, comparing them to a “broken record.” He further alleged that both Congress and its rival, the BRS, are secretly working together, and warned that voting for Congress indirectly supports a party that has betrayed the people in the past.

Bandi Sanjay insisted that including Muslims in the BC list is unfair to the BC community and could reduce Hindu representation in the state. He criticized BC organizations for not taking a stand on this issue and urged them to actively fight for their rights.

He also pointed out statistics from the caste census surveys and called on educated individuals to recognize the injustices faced by BCs, particularly regarding government appointments and benefits. He urged voters to make informed decisions in the upcoming MLC elections, emphasizing the need to support BJP candidates to oppose Muslim inclusion in the BC list and to hold Congress accountable for their promises.

Bandi Sanjay concluded his speech by encouraging people to support candidates who stand for justice and integrity. He stressed the importance of active public participation in governance to ensure fair representation and policies that benefit all communities.
