The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is preparing for the upcoming local body elections by strengthening its party structure. As part of this effort, BRS Working President and former Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) will meet with party leaders from Vikarabad district today. The meeting will take place at Telangana Bhavan at 11 AM, where KTR will provide guidance on election strategies. The party is focusing on grassroots engagement to perform well in these elections.

Unlike its approach to local elections, BRS has decided not to participate in the upcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections. Instead, the party is concentrating on building its presence at the local level. Party leaders believe that strong local governance is essential, particularly in rural areas, and are working to make a meaningful impact on communities.

In addition to today’s meeting, another meeting for BRS leaders from the Backward Classes (BC) is scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) at 11 AM at Telangana Bhavan. KTR will lead this meeting, which aims to address the concerns of the BC community. BRS leaders have accused the Congress government of failing to resolve issues affecting BCs. In response, the party is planning field-level activities to push for the implementation of promises that the Congress Party allegedly made to the BC community.
