RSI Returns Extra Money Paid at Police-Run Petrol Bunk
In Nagarkurnool, RSI Ghouse Pasha showed great honesty by returning extra money that was accidentally paid at a police-run petrol station.
Two months ago, the Police Welfare Society started an Indian Oil petrol bunk near the DSP office in Nagarkurnool. On Wednesday evening, Srinivas, a resident of Sripuram village, went to this petrol station to refuel his JCB vehicle. He purchased diesel worth ₹9,400 but mistakenly transferred ₹93,400 through PhonePe.
After reaching home, Srinivas checked his phone and realized his error. Worried, he immediately contacted SI Ghouse Pasha to report the issue. SI Pasha reassured him that the extra money could be returned.
Under SI Pasha’s guidance, the police team verified the situation and returned the excess amount to Srinivas. This act of integrity highlights the honesty and commitment of the police staff in Nagarkurnool.
