Hydra is taking strict action against illegal constructions and land encroachments in Hyderabad. Recently, officials used JCB machines to demolish unauthorized structures on government land along Kukatpally Nizampet Main Road. This land, located behind Nizampet Holistic Hospital, had been officially allotted to an army employee by the government.

Over the years, several unauthorized constructions had taken place on and around this land, including perimeter walls. The army employee had been fighting to reclaim his land for a long time but was unsuccessful. Finally, he filed a formal complaint with Hydra, providing strong evidence of the encroachment.

After a detailed investigation led by Hydra Commissioner Ranganath, officials confirmed that the land was indeed government property and had been given to the army employee. Once the encroachment was verified, Hydra officials arrived at the site on February 6, 2025, with JCBs and started demolishing the illegal structures. They broke down the gates and removed the boundary walls. After clearing the area, the 300-yard land was officially handed over to its rightful owner.
