    Tirumala Reddy Inna Reddy, backed by the Telangana State Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) Employees’ Union, has filed his nomination for the upcoming MLC elections. These elections are for the Karimnagar-Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad Teachers’ constituency and will take place on February 27.

    He was joined by CPS union State president Sthitaprajna, general secretary Kalwal Srikanth, and treasurer Naresh Goud while submitting his nomination.

    Sthitaprajna explained that the CPS Union is contesting the elections to oppose the Unified Pension Scheme, which is set to begin on April 1, 2025. He also stated that Inna Reddy has been committed to solving teachers’ problems and has worked hard for their welfare.

    Inna Reddy spoke about his 37 years of service to the teaching community and said he understands their struggles well. He criticized the growing corporatization of the teachers’ pension system, claiming that some groups are focusing on real estate businesses while neglecting teachers’ issues.

    He urged teachers to vote for him, promising that his victory would help protect their interests and improve their welfare.
