Congress MLA Jagga Reddy Talks About Party Issues

Recently, some Congress MLAs held a dinner meeting, which led the opposition party, BRS, to claim that there were internal problems in the Congress. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) is looking into the situation. Reports suggest that the party leadership has asked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to visit Delhi after the Delhi Assembly elections to discuss the matter.

Speaking informally to the media, Jagga Reddy said that a ruling party must address the concerns of its MLAs while also focusing on governance. He emphasized that MLAs should be consulted on key matters and that the party should also support leaders who lost the elections.

When asked about the recent MLAs’ meeting, he acknowledged that it took place but declined to share details at this time. He mentioned that he would provide information at the right moment if necessary.

Jagga Reddy also pointed out that internal differences are not unique to Congress. He explained that every party in power faces some level of political disagreements or dissatisfaction among its members. He clarified that he does not have the authority to make major decisions but remains committed to working within the party’s framework.

He further stated that his actions should not bring a bad reputation to the government. He assured that minor issues are common in any party and that the Congress leadership would resolve them peacefully. Since the government still has four more years before the next elections, there is ample time to address any concerns.
