Hyderabad: Sai D Prasad, Chairman of CII Telangana and Executive Director of Bharat Biotech International Ltd, has expressed optimism about the Union Budget 2025-26. He believes the budget will boost India’s economic growth and support labour-intensive industries. He highlighted that reducing the tax burden on the middle class could lead to increased consumption. Additionally, he emphasized that higher spending on urban infrastructure would likely attract more investments. Sai D Prasad also called the budget agriculture- and MSME-friendly, stating that its provisions would foster entrepreneurship in the country.

Anil Epur, a past Chairman of CII Southern Region, praised the introduction of the Prime Minister Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana. This initiative, to be implemented in collaboration with state governments across 100 districts, is seen as a major step toward improving the lives of farmers and advancing the agriculture sector. He pointed out that the scheme addresses crucial issues like productivity, crop diversification, storage, irrigation, and credit, offering a holistic solution to the challenges faced by Indian farmers.
