Telangana to Revolutionize Healthcare with AI-Driven Health Records
Hyderabad: Telangana is set to become a leader in healthcare innovation in India with the launch of an AI-powered health profiling system. This initiative, led by the State’s IT and Industries Minister, D Sridhar Babu, aims to create digital health records for every citizen. The system is expected to make medical care more efficient and accessible across the State.
The Minister introduced the ‘My Digi Record (MDR)’ mobile app, developed by Medure Hospital Services, during a recent event. He emphasized how the app could transform healthcare by addressing common challenges faced by patients. Currently, individuals often visit multiple hospitals and are required to repeat costly diagnostic tests due to the lack of a centralized health record system.
This situation not only increases financial stress for patients but also causes delays in critical medical treatments. Minister Babu highlighted that the new system would resolve these issues by integrating patient data into a central platform.
With the help of AI technology, the State plans to reduce healthcare costs, provide doctors with complete patient histories, and even predict potential health risks. This proactive approach is expected to improve medical outcomes and ensure better healthcare services for the people of Telangana.
