During a district-level task force committee meeting held at the Collectorate on Tuesday, the Collector emphasized the need to address complaints related to illegal constructions. He instructed officials to maintain proper records of such complaints in designated registers and submit detailed reports on the actions taken against these violations.

The Collector stressed that owners of multi-storied buildings, commercial spaces, and apartments must obtain the necessary permits before beginning any construction work. He also highlighted the importance of adhering to government regulations and safety precautions during the construction process.

If construction activities proceed without responding to issued notices, the district task force committee will take action against the owners of the respective buildings. Officials were directed to compile a comprehensive report on ventures and layouts that lack proper permissions.

Furthermore, the Collector urged authorities to expedite the review of applications for construction permits and ensure that approvals are granted in accordance with the rules. This, he said, would help maintain order and compliance in the district’s urban and rural development.
