Hyderabad: Professor V Balakista Reddy, the Chairman of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), highlighted the importance of protecting the environment. He stated that environmental conservation is a bigger challenge for society than even socio-economic or political issues.
Professor Reddy made these remarks while attending the ‘Save the Earth’ initiative, an event organized by ASEZ (A to Z Save the Earth), a global group active in 175 countries. The event was held at Sanjeevayya Park in Hyderabad. Speaking at the event, he said, “Protecting our planet is crucial for the sustainability of future generations.”
The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 200 ASEZ members. They conducted a major cleanliness drive in and around Sanjeevayya Park, including the nearby lake. The event started in the morning and aimed to raise awareness about keeping the environment clean.
Professor Reddy praised ASEZ for its dedication to environmental causes. He said, “The efforts of ASEZ in organising such an impactful initiative are commendable. Initiatives like these raise awareness and inspire positive change in our communities. It is a proud moment to see our youth actively involved in preserving the environment and contributing to a cleaner and greener future.”
