Welfare Schemes to Launch in Gadwal from Sunday

The District Collector of Gadwal, B.M. Santosh, has announced the launch of several major welfare schemes in the district. These include Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Housing, Food Security (Ration Cards), and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa. The programs will officially begin on Sunday.

To kick-start the initiatives, the District Collector has directed officials to select one village in each mandal for a grand launch. On Saturday, Chief Secretary A. Shanti Kumari held a video conference with district collectors to review the implementation process. Following the meeting, the District Collector emphasized the importance of ensuring smooth execution of these welfare schemes.

    1. Village Selection:
Officials are required to consult local public representatives to identify one village in each mandal where the schemes will first be implemented.

    2. Event Arrangements:
Arrangements such as stages, shamianas (tents), and drinking water facilities must be made at the venues. Public representatives should be invited as chief guests to the events.

    3. Program Schedule:
The programs are scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM. Each event will start with a video message from the Chief Minister, which will be screened at the venue.

    Dedicated Teams for Welfare Schemes

To ensure the efficient rollout of the schemes, specific officers have been assigned responsibilities:
Food Security Cards: Led by the Tahsildar.
Indiramma Housing: Supervised by the MPDO.
Rythu Bharosa: Managed by the Mandal Agriculture Officer.
Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa: Overseen by the APO.

Mandal special officers will act as overall in-charges to coordinate the implementation of all four schemes.

    Beneficiary Selection Guidelines

Officials have been instructed to carefully review the lists of beneficiaries for each scheme. The following steps must be followed:
    – Ensure the lists include only 100% eligible beneficiaries as per government guidelines.
    – Exclude any ineligible individuals.
    – Review applications received during Gram Sabhas and add eligible names to the lists.
    – During the launch, provide beneficiaries with approval documents related to the schemes.

    Goals and Monitoring

The District Collector stressed that every eligible individual in each village must benefit from these schemes. Officials must take strict measures to prevent ineligible persons from accessing the benefits.

Additionally, the process should be conducted transparently to avoid complaints or criticisms. Special officers will oversee the events to ensure their success, and any lapses or errors should be avoided to maintain the integrity of the programs.

    Officials in Attendance

The video conference to discuss the programs was attended by Additional Collectors Lakshminarayana and Narsing Rao, RDO Srinivas Rao, Mandal Sai Special Officers, and other key officials.

This initiative aims to ensure transparent and effective implementation of welfare schemes, benefiting eligible individuals across the district.
