During a review meeting held at Praja Bhavan on Friday, Bhatti Vikramarka emphasized the importance of an action plan for maintaining uninterrupted power supply. He instructed officials from Transco, Telangana State Northern Power Distribution Company Ltd (NPDCL), and Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd (SPDCL) to begin immediate implementation of the plan. He also highlighted the need to involve farmers, consumers, and media representatives in the review and awareness meetings to discuss the summer power supply plan.

The Deputy CM stressed the importance of addressing the issues faced during last summer. He noted that the measures being implemented for efficient power supply should be clearly explained in these meetings. Additionally, grievances and complaints from farmers and consumers should be collected and addressed during these sessions.

Extensive field-level meetings on the summer plan will be conducted from January 27 to February 4. Bhatti Vikramarka urged nodal officers to announce the schedule for these meetings and ensure it is widely publicized. These meetings aim to provide clarity on the strategies for uninterrupted power supply and to gather feedback from stakeholders.

On January 29, nodal officers have been directed to conduct review meetings on the summer action plan at district and subdivision levels. Similarly, superintending engineers will hold review meetings at the division level on February 4. These meetings will focus on resolving issues such as overloaded feeders in substations and recurring problems in the Distribution Transformer Regions (DTRs) over the last three years.

The review meeting was attended by senior officials, including Energy Department Principal Secretary Sundeep Kumar Sultania, Transco CMD Krishna Bhaskar, SPDCL CMD Musharaff Ali, and NPDCL CMD Varun Reddy, among others.
