    Wiz Kid Contest Celebrates Young Achievers in Karimnagar

    A grand award and prize ceremony for the Wiz Kid Contest was recently held at Paramita Heritage School in Padmanagar, Karimnagar. The event, organized on Thursday, saw enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 students. Students from classes 5 to 10 across schools in Karimnagar, Warangal, Jagtial, and Peddapalli districts took part in the contest.

    The top-performing students in the competition were recognized and rewarded for their achievements. Ten outstanding students from classes 5 to 10 received certificates, mementos, and cash prizes. The first prize was Rs 20,000, the second prize Rs 15,000, and the third prize Rs 10,000. Fourth and fifth place winners received Rs 5,000 each, while students who secured 6th to 10th positions were awarded Rs 2,000 each. In total, a cash prize of around Rs 4 lakhs was distributed to 60 deserving students. The awards were presented by the school chairman, Dr. E. Prasada Rao.

    During his speech, Dr. Rao emphasized the importance of the contest in nurturing young talent. He explained that the Wiz Kid Contest aims to promote overall development, foster a love for learning, and encourage healthy competition among students. He also highlighted that the examination is designed to bring out students’ skills in subjects like mathematics and science. Dr. Rao promised that the contest would continue to be held annually to inspire and motivate students.
