The Telangana Pavilion at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos has become a center of attention. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy officially inaugurated the pavilion during the 55th annual meeting in Switzerland. Following the event, the Chief Minister held discussions with Union Ministers, state leaders, and top officials, highlighting Telangana’s increasing role on the global stage.
On the second day of the summit, the focus was on the theme “Telangana Rising.” Several discussions and investment opportunities were explored. The Chief Minister, along with IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, is set to meet Unilever Global CEO Hein Schumacher. This meeting is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to attract investments from major global corporations like Hindustan Unilever.
High-profile meetings are also scheduled with representatives from leading companies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Sify Technologies, Skyroot Aerospace, Agility, UPL Ltd, and Global Public Policy leaders. These discussions aim to boost Telangana’s presence in sectors such as IT, data centers, and clean energy.
The Telangana delegation is also working to attract investments in green energy and innovation. Later in the day, under the guidance of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Chief Minister will meet with industrial leaders and representatives from various companies to promote Telangana as an investment-friendly destination.
With a strong presence at Davos, the Telangana government is showcasing its commitment to sustainable development and innovation. The state is positioning itself as a top destination for global investments, emphasizing its efforts to drive industrial growth and inclusive progress.
