Hyderabad: The State government has announced new guidelines for the Rythu Bharosa scheme 2025, ensuring that all farmers who have registered their agricultural lands in the Bhu Bharati portal will receive the scheme’s benefits. This initiative aims to support farmers by providing financial aid.
Under the scheme, only lands used for agriculture are eligible for the Rythu Bharosa payments. Farmers, who have been eagerly awaiting the funds for investment support, can expect the money to be deposited directly into their bank accounts starting January 26.
The financial assistance under this scheme has been increased to ₹12,000. Only agricultural land details registered in Bhu Bharati will qualify for the scheme, while non-agricultural lands will be excluded from the beneficiary list. Farmers holding RoFR (Record of Forest Rights) pattas will also be eligible for the benefits.
The payments will be transferred through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system managed by the Reserve Bank of India. The scheme will be overseen by the Telangana Agriculture Director, with the National Informatics Centre (NIC) providing IT support.
District Collectors will play a crucial role in implementing the scheme at the local level and addressing any farmer grievances. The Agriculture Director will also be responsible for ensuring smooth execution and resolving issues related to the scheme.
The State government emphasized that the Rythu Bharosa scheme is designed to make agriculture profitable and stable. This initiative aims to boost agricultural production, promote rural development, and strengthen food security across the region.
