Congress Prepares for Upcoming MLC Elections

The Congress party has started the process of selecting candidates for the upcoming MLC (Member of the Legislative Council) elections. In these elections, the party plans to field a candidate for one Graduate constituency. However, for the two Teachers constituencies, Congress will not contest directly. Instead, it will support candidates put forward by its allies, including the Left parties and their affiliated organizations.

Key contenders include Velichala Rajender Rao, who was the party’s MP candidate from Karimnagar, former DSP Madanam Gangadhar, and prominent educationist V. Narender Reddy, chairman of Alphores Educational Institutions. TPCC (Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee) chief B.
