Hyderabad: A grand event will be held to celebrate the 358th Prakash Purab (holy birth anniversary) of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth and last Sikh Guru, and the founder of Khalsa Panth. The mass gathering, known as Vishaal Deewan, is being organized by the Prabhandak Committee Gurdwara Saheb. It will take place on Sunday at Classic Garden from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The committee has announced that hundreds of Sikh devotees, along with people from other communities, are expected to participate in the event. The gathering will be a special occasion to honor the teachings and legacy of Guru Gobind Singh.
A key highlight of the event will be the recitation of Gurbani Kirtans (holy hymns) by renowned Ragi Jathas (religious preachers). These preachers have been specially invited from different parts of India to perform shabad kirtans (devotional songs) and share spiritual teachings.
Prominent Ragi Jathas such as Bhai Sarabjeet Singh from Patna Saheb, Bhai Jaskaran Singh from Patiala, Gyani Jagdev Singh, and Bhai Charanjeet Singh will lead the hymns and narrate kathas (stories) focusing on the wisdom and teachings of Sikh Gurus. The event promises to be a spiritually enriching experience for all attendees.
