    JNTUH Launches “Clean Campus Drive” Initiative

    Hyderabad: Professor V. Balakishta Reddy, the Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), kicked off a “Clean Campus Drive” programme on Monday.

    The programme aims to maintain a clean and healthy campus environment for both students and staff. Speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor stressed the importance of cleanliness and environmental sustainability. He suggested that the campus should be cleaned twice a month, with each session lasting two hours.

    The event was organized under the guidance of NSS Coordinator Dr. S. Shobha Rani and University NSS Officer Dr. M. Padmavati. Their leadership was instrumental in bringing together various participants for this initiative.

    Several key university officials participated in the event, including University Rector Dr. K. Vijayakumar Reddy, Registrar Dr. V. Venkateswara Rao, Chief Engineer Venkateswara Reddy, and College Principal Dr. G. V. Narasimha Reddy. Department heads, NSS volunteers, teachers, students, and sanitation workers also actively joined the programme to promote a clean and green campus.

    Through this initiative, JNTUH hopes to encourage greater awareness of cleanliness and the importance of maintaining a sustainable environment.
