Telangana Assembly Adjourned After Week of Debates
The Telangana Assembly was adjourned sine die on Saturday after a week of intense debates and discussions on various issues. Speaker G Prasad Kumar made the announcement, bringing the session to a close.
Legislative Affairs Minister D Sridhar Babu addressed media representatives on the Assembly premises, summarizing the key topics discussed over the past seven days. He mentioned that short discussions were held on several matters, including outstanding liabilities, the tourism policy, amenities in gurukuls, State finances, and, on the concluding day, Rythu Bharosa.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy also made a statement regarding Telangana Talli on December 9, adding to the significant moments of the session.
During the week, the Assembly worked for a total of 37.44 hours. Eight bills were passed, and members engaged in meaningful discussions on various issues of public concern. Meanwhile, the Legislative Council worked for 28.3 hours, with members filing 38 questions.
The productive discussions and decisions during this session will contribute to the ongoing development and governance of Telangana.
