Telangana Haj Committee Focuses on Pilgrims' Well-being for Haj 2025
The Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman, Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani Khusro Pasha, has urged all district Haj societies and volunteer organizations in Telangana to prioritize the needs of Haj pilgrims, especially elderly participants. During a meeting held on Tuesday at the Telangana State Haj Committee office, he discussed preparations for Haj 2025.
The chairman emphasized that a peaceful and patient mindset is essential for a successful Haj journey, even in the face of challenges. He encouraged pilgrims to practice walking regularly to maintain their fitness and perform Haj rituals with ease. He also exchanged ideas with presidents and secretaries of various district Haj societies to ensure better support for pilgrims.
Khusro Pasha addressed concerns about the difficulties experienced by pilgrims during last year’s Haj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Irfan Shareef, Assistant Executive Officer of the Telangana State Haj Committee, outlined key logistical arrangements to improve the stay of pilgrims in Mecca and Madina.
The meeting was attended by several officials, including Tafseer Iqbal, Special Secretary for Minorities Welfare, Government of Telangana; Syed Azmathullah Hussaini, Chairman of the Telangana Waqf Board; and members of the Telangana State Haj Committee, such as Md Mujeebuddin, Md Layeeq, Md. Sharfuddin, Iliyas Ahmed Hamed Khasmi, Syed Taqi Raziuddin, and Dr. Azhar Ali. Their collective efforts aim to ensure a smooth and comfortable pilgrimage experience for all participants.
