Hyderabad: The leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), has mostly stayed at his farmhouse after the party faced a defeat in the recent Assembly elections. However, he is now expected to travel to the United States of America soon.
Reports suggest that KCR plans to visit the US to spend time with his grandson. It has been a long time since he last visited the country. Even during his tenure as the Chief Minister, KCR chose not to travel to the US, as his son and the party’s working president, KT Rama Rao (KTR), handled much of the official responsibilities.
KTR’s son, who is studying in the US, shares a close bond with KCR. It is believed that the BRS chief intends to stay in the US for about two months. However, party leaders have not confirmed these details.
A senior party member mentioned that they were informed KCR would return to public life after the Sankranti festival. Upon his return, he is expected to resume leading the party and actively engage in its activities.
