Former Minister Harish Rao Criticizes Telangana CM Revanth Reddy
In a public meeting, senior BRS leader and former minister Harish Rao launched a strong attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Harish Rao claimed that Revanth’s political career is nearing its end, accusing him of poor governance and inaction.
Harish Rao also alleged that there is dissatisfaction within the Congress party. He pointed out that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reportedly refused to meet Revanth Reddy. “Even his own leadership is sidelining him,” Harish Rao said, highlighting internal tensions in the party.
Taking a sharp dig at the government, Harish Rao criticized the recent arrest of popular actor Allu Arjun. He called it a “self-goal” that backfired on the administration. “Arresting a popular actor like Allu Arjun only demonstrates their desperation,” he remarked.
The BRS leader also raised questions about the government’s developmental efforts. He accused the administration of failing to launch any new projects in the past year. “They have only demolished structures but haven’t built anything worthwhile,” Harish Rao alleged. He further criticized the suspension of key welfare programs like the Rythu Bandhu scheme, which provides support to farmers.
Harish Rao’s comments come as political campaigns intensify in the run-up to the Telangana elections. His remarks are seen as part of the BRS’s efforts to challenge the Congress-led government and shape the election narrative.
