As part of her district tour, Seethakka attended a meeting with Congress cadres at GS Garden in Basara. Upon her arrival, she was warmly welcomed by former MLAs Vittal Reddy and Narayana Rao Patel. The meeting focused on strengthening the party’s presence and spreading awareness about government programs.

The minister addressed the gathering, assuring that the government remains committed to implementing its Rythu Bharosa scheme, a key initiative for farmers. She criticized opposition parties for spreading misleading information about the program, urging Congress workers to clarify the facts at the grassroots level.

Seethakka highlighted several government schemes, including a loan waiver for farmers, a Rs. 500 bonus, 200 units of free electricity, and complimentary bus travel. She also pointed out that the previous BRS government had approved the establishment of an ethanol factory in Dilwalpur, Nirmal district. However, she accused current BRS leaders of inciting farmers and creating unrest.

The minister reaffirmed the government’s focus on development, stating that efforts to improve infrastructure and welfare schemes would be intensified. During the meeting, former MLAs Vittal Reddy and Narayana Rao Patel requested the government to prioritize development projects for IIIT Basara and the Basara Temple, key landmarks in the region.

Seethakka concluded by encouraging Congress cadres to stand united and work diligently to communicate the government’s efforts to the public, countering any negative narratives from the opposition.
