    District SP Conducts Annual Inspection of Dharur Police Station

    District Superintendent of Police (SP) T. Srinivas Rao, IPS, conducted an annual inspection of Dharur Police Station. During the visit, he reviewed the station’s records, premises, and overall functioning. The SP emphasized the importance of proactive crime prevention within the station’s jurisdiction and instructed the staff to take necessary measures to address criminal activities.

    Inspection of Records and Cleanliness
    SP T. Srinivas Rao, accompanied by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Satyanarayana, thoroughly examined the station’s records and premises. He reviewed the implementation of the 5S system, a workplace methodology focused on organization and cleanliness. The SP stressed the importance of maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

    Guidance on Seized Vehicles
    The SP advised Sub-Inspector (SI) Abdul Shukur to ensure that seized vehicles are released promptly, in accordance with court approvals.

    Interaction with Staff
    The SP held a meeting with police officers and staff, addressing their service-related concerns. He encouraged them to report any issues directly to him and emphasized the importance of teamwork and dedication. To boost morale, he announced monthly rewards for outstanding performance and urged personnel to fulfill their responsibilities diligently while keeping records up to date.

    Community Engagement and Public Relations
    SP Srinivas Rao underlined the importance of building trust with the community. He instructed police personnel to be approachable, courteous, and fair to all complainants. He also encouraged officers to resolve public grievances promptly and strengthen their connection with the local community to enhance public confidence in the police force.

    The SP advised staff to prioritize their physical and mental well-being by engaging in regular exercise, yoga, and meditation. He also stressed the significance of maintaining a neat appearance, punctuality, and strong leadership skills.

He also emphasized the timely submission of FIRs, charge sheets, and court disposals online.

    As part of the visit, the SP planted a sapling on the police station premises. He urged the staff to participate in plantation drives and ensure the proper care of saplings to contribute to environmental conservation.

    Closing Remarks
    In his closing address, SP Srinivas Rao reminded the officers to remain vigilant, gather intelligence in advance, and be accessible to the public. He stressed the importance of coordinated efforts to reduce crime rates and provide better services to citizens.
