Star actor Allu Arjun, fondly known as Bunny, was unexpectedly arrested on the release day of his much-awaited film Pushpa 2. The incident took place at Sandhya Theater in RTC Cross Roads, Hyderabad. According to reports, he was taken by the police to the Chikkadapalli Police Station, where his statement was recorded. Following this, he was taken to Gandhi Hospital for a medical check-up before being presented at the Nampally court.
After the court hearing, Allu Arjun was remanded to 14 days in custody. In response, he filed a quash petition in the High Court to challenge the charges against him. The case is currently under investigation, and further details are awaited.
Meanwhile, veteran actor Megastar Chiranjeevi paused the shooting of his film to visit Allu Arjun’s residence and show his support. Actor Nagababu also joined him, displaying a sense of unity and solidarity within the film industry.
